How Can You Find the Clues for Success?

“Success leaves clues.”

This famous old saying holds the ultimate success advice for anyone who wants to become successful but doesn't know how to get started.

Success is not rocket science. Every success story leaves behind some clues, and for observant eyes, those clues are worth their weight in gold. The clever person can take those clues and apply them to his own specific situation to achieve massive success. Those clues are like timeless principles – valid anywhere and any time.

You don't have to re-invent the wheel or spend years of your life in a never-ending loop of trial and error. The clues are out there waiting for you to get your hands on them.

Not long ago, I was watching Brian Tracy speak about how his life has been transformed and how he started to create his success empire.

He said that life had taught him that at a certain point in time every person comes across a quote, an idea, or a question that dramatically changes his life forever. And that is what happened to him.

Brian’s life changed completely when he asked himself, "Why are some people more successful than others?"

From that point on, he started learning everything he could about the qualities of successful people and how they built their success from the ground up. The fascinating part is that while he was learning, he was taking notes and applying every single habit or quality to his own life.

When Brian read that successful people wake up early in the morning, plan their day in advance, set priorities, write down their goals, and so forth, he started doing the exact same things.

And within a few months his life had totally changed. Yes, he underwent a complete life transformation.

That same question that Brian asked intrigued and inspired me enough to start learning about the clues for success from the most successful people in the world.

And my quest for those clues led me to invite over 90 of the most successful people in the world, in one-on-one conversations, to share with me their stories of how they reached the peak of success and their ideas of how the rest of us could do the same.

It has often been said that the easiest path to success is to follow in the footsteps of someone who is already successful. That is what Brian Tracy did, that is what every single successful person on the planet did, and that is what anyone who wants to become successful MUST do.

Be a success detective and go pick up the clues for success – your OWN success.

I promise that your life will never be the same!

If You Want to Succeed, Go to a Blacksmith!

Have you ever watched a blacksmith at work?

You may be surprised to find out that the blacksmith offers one of the most precious lessons about success that you will ever learn – a lesson that will help you succeed in your own life.

Look at the procedure for working with raw metal that every blacksmith follows:

1. Heat the metal until it's red-hot.
2. Mold it into the desired form by hitting it with a heavy hammer.
3. Plunge it into a bucket of cold water.
4. Watch the metal crackle in response to the sudden change in temperature.
5. Repeat the process until the metal achieves its perfect shape.

Sometimes, the metal can't withstand such harsh treatment, and it breaks. The metal has proven to be useless, so the blacksmith throws it away.

Now, you're probably wondering what this has to do with succeeding in life!

Here is the blacksmith’s lesson, a lesson that you MUST engrave in your mind:

“In order to succeed, you must accept the blows of life!”

The changes, challenges, and failures you’ll experience in your life will mold you into the shape you need to be in and prepare you for success.

You must be hard and solid to succeed. Success is never given to the weak. You still have much experience to gain and many lessons to learn before you’ll be deserving of the level of success you aim for.

And until you’ve been molded into your best form, you must never, ever give up. If you are unable to tolerate the tough requirements of success, life may find you useless and just throw you away.

Thomas Edison once said, "Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up."

You only fail when you give up. Keep that knowledge close to your heart. Know that the moment you give up is the moment you were closest to success. Just give it one more push.

If you believe in your dream and you’re happy with the path you’ve chosen for your life, you must persist along the way no matter how bumpy the road is.

The journey to your dream may be long and difficult, but don’t lose sight of the rewards! The most euphoric moment of your life will be the moment when you reach the top – the moment when you can finally hear, see, touch, and smell the fruits of your labor, the beauty of your dream, and the value of your legacy.

Heed the blacksmith’s lesson and be a rock-solid person. Never give up. Persistence is the most important trait you can have, and is the key to your success. I can tell you with confidence that you will NEVER succeed without persistence.

Are you ready to get red-hot, to withstand the blows of the hammer, to plunge yourself into cold water – and then sizzle and crackle your way to success?

Then persist, my friend....PERSIST!

How Can You Meet with Success...Guaranteed?

Imagine that you have an unexpected meeting with success. What would you do?

Now, you might ask, "What do you mean by a meeting with success? Is this a new fiction story?" But the better question might be, "How can I have a meeting with success?”

You might also be thinking, "I'm working very hard, reading everything I can find about success, and doing everything I can to achieve it. But nothing is working. I'm still struggling, still just hitting my head against the wall."

Well, I was exactly like you once. I can't count the number of times I tried to achieve success and failed.

Don't you agree with me that working hard is not enough anymore?

Yes? Okay, then let me share with you what HISTORY has proven to be the only guaranteed way to meet with success. What you're about to read will give you the information you need to easily set up a meeting with success.

But wait – there’s a catch here! You can only set up an UNEXPECTED meeting!

Yes, I know it sounds odd, but that’s the way it works. I can only guarantee that you will have this unexpected meeting if you prepare for it in advance and make sure you're ready for it when it comes. If you are, then your life will never be the same.

Every success story in history has followed the same path – I have seen this firsthand through the almost one hundred interviews I’ve conducted with ultra-successful people. If you still need more proof, just read the biographies of successful people and you will realize the truth of what I am saying.

Now, let me show you the magic.

Once upon a time, the great American poet and philosopher Henry David Thoreau offered a brilliant pearl of wisdom that enlightened the world:

"If one advances confidently in the direction of one's dreams, and endeavors to live the life which one has imagined, one will meet with a success unexpected in common hours."

I don't know what I can add to such a profound bit of wisdom – it truly leaves the greatest success guru speechless!

As soon as you finish reading this article, you must begin the search for your true purpose in life. You must have a dream and take action to achieve that dream. And when you least expect it, you will meet with success.

Do your homework. Don't be like so many others who complain and place blame and try to lay the responsibility for their unfulfilled lives on other people and external circumstances.

What do you want? What is the true purpose of your life? What is your dream?

If you already know, then you’re more than halfway there.

Now you must ask yourself if you are moving toward your dream.

If you are, then congratulations – you have probably already met success. And if you are not, never fear – you are sure to meet it very soon.

If you do not yet know the answers to those questions, however, then you are the one who is blocking your own success. I know that may be hard to hear, but we must all face the truth.

Listen, it doesn’t matter how many times you’ve set SMART goals but were unable to achieve them. I don't even bother with this SMART stuff at all.

The only thing that you need to do from now on is to make sure that every action you take advances your position in the direction of your dreams and toward living the life you've always imagined.

And DO advance CONFIDENTLY. Believe in yourself and your dreams. Believe that you have chosen the best way to live your life. That is the only path that will lead to success and ultimate satisfaction.

I want you to read Thoreau’s quote again: "If one advances confidently in the direction of one's dreams, and endeavors to live the life which one has imagined, one will meet with a success unexpected in common hours."

So here is the guaranteed formula to meet with success:

Confident advancement + Direction of your dreams = Meeting with success.

I can't stress enough the importance of knowing your true purpose in life, and knowing that your dream is worth living for. Moving toward a purpose and a dream that fires your desire and passion is the only direction that guarantees meeting with success.

It all starts with confident advancement and your BIG dream, and voilà – the next thing you know you’re meeting with success and experiencing a total life transformation.

Take action today and every day, in ONE and ONLY ONE direction: the direction of your dreams and your true purpose in life.

Do this and be confident that you will achieve success sooner or later, in UNEXPECTED COMMON HOURS.

You’re living your life anyway – why not live it in preparation for your meeting with success?

I urge you to prepare NOW, because success is coming your way!

There Is Only One True Success!

Tell me...

How are you living your life?

Are you living it your family’s way, your society’s way, your friends’ way – or your OWN way?

Are you living an inherited life that has no taste or meaning for you? Are you living how other people expect you to? Are you giving other people full control of your life and your destiny?

Do you try to please everyone except yourself?

All of us have been told at one point or another that our elders know more than we do and that we should follow their advice.

Are you following the advice of people who don’t know you and who don’t know what your dreams are?

I know I am asking too many questions, so let me be frank and share with you the message I want to drive home:

"There is only one success – the ability to live your life in your own way." – Christopher Morley, American writer and editor

That is the ONE true success!

Read that quote again.

Your ability to live your life from the inside out is the only true success. Success comes in all shapes and sizes, and is highly dependent on each individual’s personal definition of what success means to him.

But in the end, everything converges on this tipping point: any form of success MUST reflect your own way of living your life.

You were born for a purpose – a unique purpose. And the best way to live your life is to fully express that purpose.

The ultimate victory in life is to win the battle over the external forces that push you to live your life like everyone else, to follow the herd like a sheep, and to deprive yourself of your right to live life in your own way.

There is only one way to unleash your inner giant, and that is by being determined to live your life by your own rules, and making the commitment to find your true purpose and turn it into a living reality.

When you do that, you will reach your maximum personal power and will experience an overwhelming sense of meaning and satisfaction.

Only then can you craft a legacy that will ensure that you live on in the hearts and minds of others for years to come.

"There is only one success – the ability to live your life in your own way."

Let Christopher Morley’s quote be the guiding light in your life and the guiding principle in your quest for success.

Search for what makes you feel ALIVE, not for what makes you a living!

Life is a gift from God, and you must make the best use of it.

What one action can you take to start living life in your own way – TODAY?

Remember – that is the only true success!

Success Is Simple!

Are you determined to achieve massive success?

Then this article will show you the simplest formula for reaching heights of success you’ve only dreamed about.

Remember that simplicity is not the same thing as ineffectiveness, for true power lies in simplicity. As the saying goes, "Common sense is not always common practice."

Let's begin.

Psychologist Arnold H. Glasgow has said, "Success is simple: do what's right, the right way, at the right time."

That’s a simple concept, yet very profound.

The quote lays out three easy steps to simplify success, but those steps must be integrated to work effectively – you can't afford to skip even one of them.

The first step is to do what is right. If you skip the FIRST and most important step, your chances of success will be practically nil.

But how do you know what is right for you?

Simply put, the decisions you make every day must reflect your true purpose in life. Every step you take must enhance and solidify who you are and what you were meant to accomplish in this life.

When you have a purpose, your actions naturally become more powerful because they are focused and united to fulfill a sole objective. Consequently, you achieve faster and better results.
The second step is to do it the right way. If you skip this step, you’ll find yourself in a never-ending loop of trial and error where you’ll just keep re-inventing the wheel, instead of re-inventing yourself.

It has often been said that the easiest way to become successful is to find someone who is already successful and follow in his footsteps.

Take that advice and learn from the best. Look for successful people who have reached the same level of success you want to reach, and learn from both their mistakes and their accomplishments. Imitate their lives, learn their methods, and discover their secrets.

The third and last simple step to success is to choose the right time. Take small actions every single day that lead you toward fulfilling your purpose. Prepare yourself so that when the right opportunity presents itself, you’ll be ready to seize it and ride it to unimaginable levels of success.
The right time to start taking action is NOW. Even the smallest action can make a big difference. Don't worry about the magnitude of your every move; focus instead on the collective power of all your small actions combined.

"Success is simple. Do what's right, the right way, at the right time."

Do what is right by discovering your true purpose in life.

Do it the right way by learning from the best.

Do it at the right time by taking small actions and preparing yourself to seize opportunity when it presents itself.

Can success be that simple?

It can be if you start NOW!
